Integra pulled out all the stops to ensure the DRX-8.4 is a flagship-worthy receiver. With an all-new reference symmetric Class AB amplifier circuit, heavy-duty fanned heatsinks, and two high-performance ESS SABRE DACs, this receiver is set to deliver audiophile sound. Or, go with a more conventional surround sound setup, and repurpose the extra channels for stereo sound in up to two additional zones. At 150 watts per channel (2-channels driven), the DRX-8.4's high-powered amplifier will drive your speakers with precision and impact. If you find yourself with unused surround channels, you can repurpose them to bi-amp a compatible center speaker and a pair of compatible front right and left speakers for a powerful front soundstage.

Add bass your way

New to Integra is the addition of four line-level subwoofer outputs for powered subs on the DRX-8.4. You can even reassign two speaker output channels to drive a pair of passive subwoofers.
