Fully Active 2.1 Home Theater Soundbar

So compact and yet so powerful. With a width of 1050 mm, the SBW 280 fits perfectly even the smallest diagonal display. The 75mm high and 90mm deep soundbar features two bi-directional systems, each consisting of a 20mm fabric cap flanked by two 76x48mm midrange systems. Each of the channels has 30 watts of continuous power and 60 W of peak power, more than enough for large dynamic actions. In addition to the HDMI input for connecting to the TV, the SBW 280 has an optical digital input, an analog input in 3.5 mm jack format and a USB input that allows playback of MP3 and WMA files. Finally, the Bluetooth interface with lossless transmission according to the aptX protocol complements the diversity of inputs. The USB port allows the power supply and therefore the easy connection of Amazon Alexa or Google Home. The fully active, wireless subwoofer is equipped with a 200mm chassis on the side, powered by an amplifier with 70W continuous power and a maximum power of 140W. INNOVATIVE CHASSIS CONSTRUCTION The heart of the superb high-frequency reproduction is our new high-definition unit with two, yes, two fmax tweeters. A 30 mm dome with an extra-wide bead allows it to operate at a low crossover frequency and therefore perfectly coupled with the midrange speaker. The additional 20 mm super dome tweeter forms the basis for an extended frequency response beyond 50 kHz. It also exhibits excellent overall dispersion characteristics. With this combination, it is certified with the Hi-Res seal by the Japan Audio Society. FE Dynamics woofers and subwoofers have specially coated diaphragms that are checked for interference tuning and optimized using laser technology, the so-called Klippel method. A ventilated voice coil unit, the speaker unit, guarantees optimal cooling and, therefore, maximum durability – even when things get “loud”. EXCELLENT PRODUCTION QUALITY The solid MDF cabinet has low resonance, providing the best sound conditions for the chassis. The Signature 500's diaphragm is coated with black high-gloss piano lacquer on the black ash models, with the mocha finish complemented by a silk matt anthracite front panel.
