JBL's decades of experience has given them the know-how to excel in all kinds of audio. Now they've taken their expertise and created the Club Series subwoofer enclosures, engineered to pump out thunderous bass with minimal distortion. The JBL Club 1200SSL loaded enclosure puts a low-profile 12" subwoofer and a 12" passive driver in a downward-firing box designed specifically for the subwoofer. The second sub (called a "passive radiator") reacts to the air pressure produced by the active sub, reinforcing the low end for bigger thump than other compact subwoofer enclosures.

Built for big bass

The sub's polypropylene cone and nitrile rubber surround handles up to 400 watts of RMS power (1200 watts peak) and delivers lows down to 30 Hz for bass you can feel. The enclosure is wired to a single input with 2 ohms total impedance. The box is constructed of 3/4" medium-density fiberboard (MDF) to stand up to the stresses of road life, with a black carpet covering that keeps its good looks for years to come. Four plastic feet are included to raise the enclosure off the floor for better performance, and mounting brackets are included for security and safety. The removable logo badge can be placed wherever you like for a custom touch.

The Club Series 1200P enclosure features a 12" 2-ohm subwoofer with a polypropylene cone and 2" voice coil that can handle up up to 400 watts of RMS power (1200 watts peak). With lows down to 30 Hz, you'll feel the bass in your bones. The enclosure is wired to a single input with 2 ohms total impedance.

Ride in the Slipstream

Club Series enclosures owe their great sound to JBL's patented Slipstream port design. Its double-flared design reduces turbulence and port noise, so you'll enjoy the higher output of a ported enclosure with less distortion. The box is constructed of 13/16" medium-density fiberboard (MDF) to stand up to the stresses of road life, with black carpet covering that keeps its good looks for years to come. Rounded corners make the Club Series enclosures easier to fit into tight spots.

500 watts RMS  of sheer impact

The Stage 1200D ported enclosure comes loaded with two of JBL's Stage 122AM 12" subwoofers, which handle up to 500 watts RMS together. The enclosure's 2-ohm impedance gets the most possible power out of your mono amp. The slot-ported enclosure is made from rugged 5/8" MDF covered with black carpet to withstand the bumps and bruises of life in a car. JBL tunes the enclosure for maximum performance, so you can count on impressive low-end punch.

Handles up to 250 watts

The Stage 1200S sealed enclosure comes loaded with one Stage 122 12" subwoofer, which features a polypropylene cone with a rubber surround. The sub handles up to 250 watts RMS, and its 2-ohm impedance makes it a great match for most sub amplifiers. The enclosure is made from 5/8" MDF covered with black carpet to withstand the bumps and bruises of life in a car. JBL tunes the enclosure to maximize the sub's performance, so you can count on impressive low-end punch.

No storm in this port

The Series II subwoofers were a big hit, so now JBL brings you their Series II bass enclosures, the perfect marriage of subwoofer performance and box design.The S2-1224SS enclosure comes loaded with JBL's S2-1224 12" subwoofer, which features a polypropylene cone and nitrile rubber surround made to stand up to life in an automobile. JBL's patented Slipstream port uses a double-flared design to cut port noise and distortion by reducing turbulence. Less turbulence, more boom. This port allows JBL to design a smaller enclosure without sacrificing any impact.

Switchable impedance

The sub also features JBL's Selectable Smart Impedance, which allows you to switch between 2 ohms and 4 ohms impedance to optimize the speaker to your system. This also allows you to start your system with a single Series II enclosure, then add another one later without having to replace your bass amp. To drive this single subwoofer, we recommend a mono amplifier rated between 200 and 375 watts RMS at 2 ohms.
