Ibanez GSR200B WNF GIO Bass, Overview

The Ibanez GSR200B GIO Bass is the ideal bass guitar for beginners and intermediate players. Equipped with Dynamix P and J pickups, this model delivers versatile tones that can accommodate a wide variety of genres. The GSR200 also features a Phat II EQ control, which allows you to add some extra low-end power to your tone.

Crafted with a poplar body, maple neck and jatoba fingerboard, this model offers good levels of projection and sustain, with a warm and smooth bass tone. The GSR200 offers the same looks, tone, comfort, and rigorous set-up as some of Ibanez’s most expensive basses, ensuring that players on a budget get the same quality as the professionals.

  • Funky basslines

    The GIO Bass comes equipped with two powerful Dynamix bass. These tried-and-tested combination, of a punchy “P”-style split coil neck pickup and mellow “J”-style single coil bridge pickup, allows the instrument to achieve everything from warm jazz sounds to thunderous rock tones. The two pickups are wired to individual volume controls and share a master tone control, letting you dial in the perfect sound for your playing style.

    Incorporating an individual volume control for each pickup, the GSR200B allows you to blend both pickup tones to create unique full sounds. The master tone control shapes the bass’ frequency response, letting you dial in your own desired preference. Additionally, the built in Phat II EQ circuitry allows active style bass boosting via its one channel EQ preamp, delivering a beefy and deep tone for when you need to add an extra layer of thunder.
