With Groove Circuit , you can easily create remixes by simply pressing dedicated buttons. This lets you replace a track’s drum parts – even while it’s playing – with different drum loops, switching them to different genres and performing unique remixes effortlessly. And by applying effects to the drum parts, you can easily create fills, build-ups, and breakdowns. By freely manipulating the drum parts, you can perform innovative and creative live remixes

The DDJ-GRV6 features large jog wheels that are ideal for scratching, 8 performance pads that are positioned above the jogs – just like on the iconic CDJ-3000 multi-player – and Beat FX from the DJM-A9 in the mixer section. All of this means you can play with a feel similar to using standard club equipment and perform dynamically by combining expressive scratching with pad techniques and effects that are perfect for club sets.

The new Smart Rotary Selector on the DDJ-GRV6 allows tilt up/down and left/right as well as conventional rotate and push functions when using rekordbox for Mac/Windows version 7

Swiping left/right allows intuitive navigation through the media browser, tree view and track list, while swiping up/down allows quick navigation through playlists and collections, so you can quickly find the track you want, no matter how large your music library is.

The DDJ-GRV6 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro , which includes a Stems FX function.

Express yourself musically by applying effects like Roll, Trans, Echo Out and Delay to individual Stems of a track – drums, bass, vocals or melody. Apply the included overlay sheet to the DDJ-GRV6 to change the button labels to Stems FX for ease of use

You can choose to use the DDJ-GRV6 not only with rekordbox for Mac/Windows but also with rekordbox for iOS/Android

While it includes many advanced features, the matte black finish and ergonomic design mean you can easily find your way around the DDJ-GRV6.

Despite the variety of functions, the minimalist display and indicators offer intuitive access to the functions you need. And the Groove Circuit , one of the unit’s key features, is neatly positioned above the Performance Pads with a “step” in between, ensuring you won’t accidentally touch a jog wheel when using it. This sleek design lets you get creative with performances that can be simple or complex.
