Wood Construction and Tonal Character

The spruce top provides a clear, direct fundamental tone, while Okoume for the body and neck delivers a warm, balanced sound. The Grand Concert body shape is slightly more compact than a jumbo model and therefore offers particularly comfortable handling – ideal for smaller players and beginners. Despite the more compact size the body produces a present, defined bass foundation with a pleasant response. The cutaway also lets you access the upper frets effortlessly, making melodic lines and solo passages easier.

Electronics and Operation

The undersaddle piezo performs reliably and transmits your tone precisely. The EQ-7545R preamp gives you Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence so you can optimally tailor your sound. Whether at home, on stage or in the studio – this bass offers versatile performance.
