With a total of 1200 sounds, all equipped with multisampling, the demanding pianist has a large palette of tones to experiment with different timbres. Thanks to multisampling technology, where each piano key uses multiple samples, the GP-A 810 grand sets new standards in piano sound.

Weighted Hammer-Action Keyboard With Touch-Point Simulation and Synthetic Ivory Surface

The GP-A 810’s weighted keyboard, touch-point simulation and 3-sensor system authentically reproduce the feel of an acoustic grand. The Ivory-Touch key surface also delivers an incredibly high-quality tactile response. Thanks to its touch sensitivity, the digital piano can be played like a classic concert grand. Keyboard dynamics can be adjusted in six stages via the touch function. To reliably protect the keyboard from dust, the GP-A 810 includes a key cover.

256-Note Polyphony

The GP-A 810 can reproduce up to 256 notes simultaneously, allowing pieces from all genres (classical, rock, pop, etc.) to be played with stereo sound while using multiple voices at the same time.

Damper Resonance

The GP-A 810’s damper resonance function reliably simulates the internal resonance of an acoustic grand, so every pedaled keystroke rings with its natural resonance.

Bluetooth

Thanks to the easy-to-use Bluetooth function, you can stream your favorite songs from a smartphone or tablet directly to the GP-A 810 and play them back through the built-in speakers.

To further refine the piano sound, the digital piano offers, in addition to a master EQ, a total of 38 effects (11 reverb effects, 12 chorus effects and 15 additional sound effects). That way you can always find the perfect sound for the mood or situation.

Auto-Accompaniment With 270 Styles and Chord Fingering Mode

To keep things interesting, a full band or even an orchestra is always on hand to accompany the pianist thanks to the integrated auto-accompaniment, which follows the chords played with the left hand and adapts automatically. In total, the Classic Cantabile digital piano offers 230 different styles across a wide range of musical genres.
“Fingering” describes the way the chords are input to the accompaniment system. The GP-A 810 offers three options. Single fingering lets you trigger a wide variety of chords while pressing only a few keys. Multi fingering controls the auto-accompaniment by entering a full chord. Full-Range recognizes chords not only in the left-hand area but across the entire keyboard.

Layer and Split Functions

The “Layer” and “Split” functions let you comfortably stack and combine two sounds to create impressive sonic textures. With the split function you can divide the keyboard—for example, strings on the left hand and piano on the right. The volume of each side can be adjusted independently.

Twinova Function

The Twinova function was designed for teachers and students: it splits the keyboard and pedals into two halves, creating two independent keyboards ideal for demanding lessons or home practice sessions. The pedals adapt to the function as well: the left and right pedals act as the sustain pedal for their respective side, while the middle pedal extends sustain for the entire keyboard. This lets you effectively play on two separate pianos with a single instrument!

Wide Range of Connections With USB MP3 Player & Recorder

Another highlight is the wide range of connections and the built-in MP3 recorder of the GP-A 810. The 6.3 mm jack microphone input also makes the grand attractive for entertainers. With the integrated USB MP3 recorder you can record directly to a USB stick. The clever part: vocals and keystrokes are stored together in a stereo MP3 file. If no USB storage is connected, the internal recorder saves all recordings in MIDI format. This feature is perfect for assessing your own progress on the piano.
The USB-to-host output lets you connect the digital grand to a computer. With an optional Camera Connection Kit you can conveniently connect an iPad or iPhone to the digital piano, allowing you to use all apps in sync—especially useful for recording apps and learning tools.

Headphone Jacks, Line In and Line Out

The two 6.3 mm jack headphone outputs let you practice uninterrupted. If the headphones or the built-in Hi-Fi speakers don’t meet your needs, the stereo AUX output allows connection to a PA system or active monitors. To play along with songs from a CD or smartphone, simply use the AUX IN jack.

Tune and Transpose

The tune and transpose functions let you finely adjust the instrument like a real grand and transpose it to suit other sonic environments and ensembles.

Built-In Metronome

To help you stay in time, the GP-A 810 includes an integrated metronome that covers a tempo range from 30 to 280 BPM and 14 different time signatures. The display also shows the current beat and the count-in.

3 Pedals for Maximum Dynamic Control

Like a concert grand, the GP-A 810 provides three pedals that shape sound and dynamics: the soft pedal (played with the left foot), the sostenuto pedal and the damper pedal, which lets notes decay. The sostenuto pedal sustains already-played notes longer, while the soft pedal produces a softer tonal character.

Harmony

A special feature of the GP-A 810 is the harmony function, which can add harmony notes to the tones played with the right hand. This lets you enrich melodic lines with harmonic overtones.

Hi-Fi Speaker System With Preset EQ

For powerful sound, the GP-A 810 features a built-in stereo Hi-Fi speaker system, which can be tailored to your needs using the integrated equalizer with six presets. The USB and AUX inputs as well as the Bluetooth receiver also make playback of external sources a true pleasure.

LCD Display

The clear LCD provides the best overview in any playing situation and shows, in addition to the selected sound, the metronome tempo, the chosen time signature and other useful information.
