Classic Cantabile UP-1 OM Upright E-Piano Okoume

USB-to-Host Compatible With Popular Piano Apps

The USB-to-Host port lets you connect the UP-1 to a computer, tablet or laptop. Through the common app stores you can pair the UP-1 with popular piano apps such as Flowkey, Skoove or Simplypiano. Beginners in particular benefit from the learning possibilities, and there is also a wide range of recording apps to choose from. The UP-1 is not only compatible with Android apps, it also connects comfortably to iPad and iPhone.

Damper Resonance

The UP-1’s damper resonance function reliably simulates the inner workings of an acoustic piano. This means every pedaled keystroke sounds with its natural resonance.

22 Built-In Effects

To further refine the piano sound, the digital piano features a total of 22 effects (10 reverb effects, 12 chorus effects). This ensures you always find the right sound for the desired mood.

Layer And Split Functions

The “Layer” and “Split” functions let you comfortably stack two sounds and combine them. This enables the creation of impressive sonic worlds. With the Split function you can split the keyboard so that, for example, strings sound on the left hand while a piano tone sounds on the right. The volume of each side can be adjusted independently.

Twinova Function

The Twinova function was created for teachers and students, allowing the keyboard and pedals to be split into two halves. This creates two independent keyboards that are ideal for demanding piano lessons or practice sessions at home. The pedals can also be assigned left and right separately. That way you can play as if on two separate pianos, all on one instrument!

Wide Range Of Connections With USB MP3 Player & Recorder

Another revolution is the wide range of connections and the built-in MP3 recorder of the UP-1. The 6.3 mm jack microphone/AUX input also makes the piano attractive for entertainers. With the integrated USB MP3 recorder you can record directly to a USB stick. The clever bit: all signals (vocals, keystrokes and any external audio sources) are stored in a single stereo MP3 file. If the integrated hi-fi speakers don’t meet your demands, the stereo AUX output lets you connect to a PA system or active speakers.

Transpose Function

The transpose functions let you shift the instrument in semitone steps, so it can be optimally adapted to other sonic environments, tunings and ensembles.

Metronome And Headphone Jacks

To always stay in time, the UP-1 features an integrated metronome that, in addition to displaying beats per minute, also shows Italian tempo markings (Adagio, Andante, Allegro, etc.). The tempo can be adjusted steplessly via a rotary control. Two headphone jacks make it easy to play in the evening or at night when you don’t want to disturb others.

3 Pedals For Maximum Dynamics

Like a concert grand, the UP-1 provides 3 pedals to influence tone and dynamics: the soft pedal, played with the left foot, the sostenuto pedal, and the damper pedal, which lets notes decay. The sostenuto pedal lets already-played notes sustain longer. The soft pedal produces a softer sound.

OLED Display

The clearly readable OLED display ensures the best overview in any playing situation and shows, in addition to the selected sound, the metronome tempo, the chosen time signature and other useful information.
