The AAD70CE is part of Ibanez’s Advanced Acoustic range, developed to rethink how an acoustic guitar sounds and feels. Its Grand Dreadnought body was designed to increase volume, enhance low-end response and improve overall projection. Despite its size, the body remains comfortable thanks to refined ergonomics, giving players a powerful acoustic voice without sacrificing playability during long sessions.

Premium tonewood pairing

A solid Sitka spruce top provides crisp highs, focused mids and a responsive low end that reacts dynamically to changes in picking strength. This is complemented by Macassar ebony back and sides, which contribute deep lows and clear, shimmering treble. The combination results in a balanced, articulate tone that works equally well for strumming, fingerstyle and amplified performance.

Comfortable modern playability

The low oval grip okoume neck is shaped for smooth chord transitions and reduced hand fatigue, making it ideal for extended playing. A functional tapered headstock improves tuning stability through straighter string alignment while reducing overall weight. The advanced access cutaway allows easy reach beyond the 18th fret, expanding the guitar’s expressive range.

Ready for stage and studio

Equipped with a T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp, the AAD70CE is ready for live and recording environments. The system delivers clear, natural amplified tone, with straightforward bass and treble controls and a clear onboard tuner. Balanced XLR and standard jack outputs make integration simple, while the A.I.R.port helps players hear themselves more clearly.
