Ibanez ar420-vls
Ibanez AR420, Violin Sunburst Overview
Beautiful Tonewoods
The Ibanez AR420 is constructed from a lightweight mahogany body, 3-piece maple neck, and a jatoba fingerboard, offering excellent comfort and an incredibly dynamic tone. The mahogany provides a warm, smooth tone with plenty of depth. The maple neck infuses the guitar with bright characteristics, while the jatoba fretboard offers good levels of projection and a good amount of sustain with a clear ringing tone.
Smooth Heel Set-In Neck
The Ibanez AR420 guitar is designed with a sleek set-in neck construction, providing advanced playability while optimising the resonance transfer between the neck and body. Unlike bolt-on constructions, set-in necks can be sculpted into a smoother and more ergonomic heel, allowing seamless accessibility to the higher register for a more comfortable performance.
Super 58 Pickups
Loaded with two Super 58 pickups, the Ibanez AR420 produces a classic, warm and versatile tone. They can handle both jazz and rock without feedback. Additionally, the stylish gold caps covering the Super 58 pickups also feature a unique engraving to create a truly classic look.
Tri-Sound Switches
The AR420 features a Tri-sound switch for each pickup that allows you to choose from series, parallel, and coil tap wiring configuration for a range of tonal possibilities.
ART-1 Bridge & Quik Change III Tailpiece
This AR series guitar features the ART-1 bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece combination in a stunning gold finish, creating a beautifully modern yet old appearance to complement the guitar’s aesthetics. While the bridge helps improve the string’s sustain and tuning stability, the tailpiece allows for faster and easier string changes than standard bridges.
