Subwoofer Firing Options

This subwoofer features a full grille and down-firing structure for cone protection and can be installed inside your vehicle’s interior. This combines deep, powerful bass while seamlessly integrating physically, electrically, and more importantly improves the acoustics in the vehicle.

This subwoofer was designed with the flexibility to be installed in three different ways. The provided feet can be screwed onto the bottom or top using the pre-drilled holes. Cushions on the feet prevent sliding.

Down-fire –With the four feet installed to the bottom of the subwoofer to allow space between the cone and the floor, it will push the soundwaves towards the floor where they are reflected to deliver a richer sound for a stronger “rumble” effect.

Up-fire –This option allows you to place the subwoofer with the cone facing upward. It can use the provided feet to prevent sliding. Firing the sub upwards moves more cabin air to deliver a stronger, more crisp sounding bass.

Vertical-Facing – This option allows you to place the subwoofer with the cone facing on its side. It can use the provided feet to prevent sliding. This position will disperse sound like conventional loudspeakers producing fast and impactful bass, hitting the ear before being reflected off a surface which can lead to an especially precise and punchy sound.
