The lower half of the playing surface is glued firmly, the upper half screwed. The cajon with bass port offers optimal seating comfort at a height of 49 cm with excellent playability.

Design

The side-mounted strips and the wood look in a light shabby chic style reference the cajon’s origins: before evolving into independent musical instruments, banana crates were used as drum substitutes. The ultimate eye-catcher is the printed playing surface, ensuring the cajon stays in the spotlight even during breaks.

Bass Tunnel

A permanently integrated bass reflex tunnel delivers a dominant bass sound while the snare tones still come through convincingly.

Printed Playing Surface

The cajon’s playing surface not only looks unique but sounds great too. The upper half is screwed instead of glued, allowing fine-tuning of the clap corners and thus the overall sound.

Snare Effect

To refine the strikes at the top edge, a 20-coil snare carpet is installed inside, which vibrates when the cajon is hit, providing the typical tonal coloration.
