Clearly designed

Few control buttons, but a clear overview: Almost all settings are controlled using the keyboard. Their respective functions are displayed directly above the keys, providing quick access while maintaining a clean appearance.

The compact piano version

The DK-88 features a black wood-effect base that screws onto the keyboard. With the look of a compact digital piano, it lends a sophisticated touch to any living room.

Wide variety of sounds with effects

On the right side, there are nine buttons for the various sounds: the first eight select the most common sounds and a percussion set. The ninth button can be assigned to one of a total of 139 GM sounds. Pressing two buttons simultaneously mixes the two selected sounds (dual function). Each sound can be further enhanced with sustain (the note continues to resonate even after the key is no longer being touched) or vibrato.

Split and Twinova function

These two functions differ in that the Split function allows you to select a different sound for the left-hand keys than for the right-hand keys. The Twinova function (the “Lesson” button) splits the keyboard into two halves, creating what you would call two small, independent piano keyboards side by side.

Integrated media player

The built-in player can play MP3 files from a USB stick directly through the speakers. Simple playback controls such as play/pause, skip, repeat/shuffle, and a dedicated volume control are available.

Connection options

To play along with your favorite songs, you can connect a smartphone, tablet, or other MP3 player to the jack socket. The music is played directly through the speakers. Two headphone outputs are available on the rear panel, and a USB-to-host port is integrated for connecting to a computer.
